In Acts chapter 19 Paul found some disciples and asked them, "Did you
receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" By this Paul determined with which
baptism they were baptized in order to know where he must start to build from in
their lives. He prayed for them to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit
because without this baptism it is impossible for them to receive the teaching
of the Kingdom of Heaven. From there Paul took them to the synagogue where he
taught them for three months regarding the Kingdom of Heaven. But when some of
them became obstinate and refused to believe Paul took the disciples aside. Over
a period of two years he built into their lives in the school of Tyrannus, by
teaching them concerning the Kingdom of Heaven and the work of Christ. The Jews
and Greeks who lived in this province of Asia were all affected by this school.
The scripture says that all who lived in this province heard the word of the
Lord and God did extraordinary miracles through Paul.
It
is important to be taught concerning the Kingdom of Heaven and its reign.
It is with this in mind that we reach out to our children to impart to them
that which we have received from God. We do this through the laying on of hands
and the teaching of the scriptures. We need to continually upgrade ourselves,
our leaders and our members by growing in the Truth and allowing the Truth to
live inside us. Accountability in the body of Christ is of
utmost importance and we have a responsibility to build into each others lives
and so strengthen the body. At CCA we train and equip our children to rise as
leaders in their environment.

Romans
chapter twelve teaches us that we must upgrade or renew our minds with the
truth in order for us to understand the will of our Father. Therefore we are not only reaching out to our children but also to the community leaders
to enable them with the truth, to lead the communities into a better future,
a future with hope and life, which is a wide open spacious life. |
